Winter Wonderland – January, 2026

Well, this is a great start to 2026! I felt like I was in a winter wonderland. How wonderful it is to throw snowballs together, build snowmen and igloos, and of course paint! Dressed warmly in thermal clothing, I set off. A warm setting sun colored the snow in pastel shades. As far as I’m concerned, the snow can stay a while longer!

I wish everyone a creative, loving, and healthy 2026!

150! – November 17, 2025

Hooray! My 150th painting has been sold. It’s incredibly rewarding to see that my paintings are reaching so many people. Thank you all for your enthusiasm! Thanks also to  ARTACASA art gallery, which sold a significant number of the paintings. On to the next 150!

New in art gallery ARTACASA – October 17, 2025

I have brought some new paintings to the ARTACASA art gallery in Amsterdam.  Owner Wiebke has such a beautiful gallery! If you are in Amsterdam, go and have a look around ARTACASA at Kerkstraat 411 (near Carré).

Atelierroute Driebergen – 4 and 5 October, 2025

In the first weekend of October, the Atelierroute Driebergen will take place. The chance to see the work of artists in Driebergen. The art is very diverse; from drawing and painting, bookbinding, photography, goldsmithing, graphics, sculpture, bronze, ceramics and textiles, to mixed media, leatherwork and illustrations. So there is plenty to see and discover!

I am also participating. A lot of new paintings can be seen. Please come and have a look! Information can be found at www.atelierroutedriebergen.nl

Atelierroute Driebergen
4 and 5 October, between 12 and 5PM
Rodenbergsedreef 14, Driebergen

Once again, I will be donating part of the proceeds from the sale to charity. Whenever I paint outdoors and enjoy the peace and beauty around me, I realize that this is not something to be taken for granted.

By supporting charities, I hope to contribute to a better world. That is why 50% of the proceeds this time will go to UNICEF – an organization that works tirelessly for children, including those in Gaza, to provide them with the protection and care that every child is entitled to.

25 new mini’s on the website – September 2025

Give yourself or your loved ones a nice and special present: a unique mini painting! I love making these little gems. For sale at Art Gallery ARTA CASA and on my website (different ones).

Exhibition! – May 24 and 25

On Saturday May 24 and Sunday May 25, I’m opening the doors of my studio to the public as part of the National Open Atelier Weekend – a nationwide event where artists across the Netherlands invite visitors to step inside their creative spaces.

I love painting en plein air – out in nature, where I can truly capture the changing light, vibrant colours, and atmosphere of the landscape. During this special weekend, I’ll be showing a selection of paintings created on location, each one shaped by the moment in which it was made.

You’re warmly invited to come by, take a look around, ask questions, and get a glimpse into how inspiration becomes artwork. I look forward to meeting you!

🕒 Opening hours: May 24 and 25 between 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM
📩 More info: www.landelijkatelierweekend.nl

Come and view my paintings! – May 24&25

It’s that time again! In 2025, I’ll be opening my studio twice, and I’d love to invite you to visit and check out my latest paintings. I’ll be open on the following dates:

This is a wonderful opportunity to get a closer look at the creative process and learn more about the stories behind my paintings. It’s also a chance to chat about art and inspiration.

If these dates don’t work for you but you’d still like to visit, feel free to send me a message, and we can schedule another time!

I look forward to welcoming you!

Available–  31 January, 2025

The Hans Nijhof Art Prize was organised each year by the Cultural Region to encourage art in the area around the Utrechtse Heuvelrug (where I live).

Sadly, Henk Drok, the initiator of the prize and chairman of the Cultural Region has passed away. He meant a lot to art and artists (including myself) in the region!

As a result, the Hans Nijhof Art Prize will not take place. I had submitted these paintings for the prize, but they are therefore available again. No rush to sell them, they hang nicely on my own livingroom wall 😉

Wonderful sunny weekend–  12 January, 2025

We had a lot of rainy days lately. But then there was the sun! I was feeling a little too comfortable in my studio lately, so I took the opportunity and went outside to paint! It was cold, but with the right clothes, it’s doable!
