Sunset at Terschelling

When painting a sunset, I always make sure to arrive well over an hour beforehand. Then I can mix colors at my leisure, although it’s always a bit of a gamble as to which colors appear at sunset! This time I had mixed mostly orange and brown tones. The darker colors were a little less present, but they do enhance the light of the sunset! That’s why I usually start a little darker than can be seen in real life. Painting tips of the day 😊
