Who ever gets up early to watch the sunrise? I must confess: normally I prefer to stay in bed for a while longer. And painting such a sunrise or sunset is very tricky, the light changes so quickly!
But I don’t shy away from a challenge. The alarm clock at 6 o’clock and at half past six beautiful views of the sunrise. What spectacular colours! You can hardly get that in a photo, but in a painting you can!
