A visitor to an open studio once asked me to paint on the beach at Zoutelande. This is really different from other beaches, where there are poles on the beach every few meters, to prevent erosion of the coast.
A wonderful weekend of painting. The weather did not cooperate all the time, but I was still able to paint a few moments. But those poles, they did make me sweat quite a bit…. Still difficult to get a tight row of poles in my painting, without destroying the loose style!
