Then they appeared—slowly, quietly—a group of curious cows, wandering closer with each step. One came right up to me, her gaze fixed as if she wanted to see what I was painting.

That’s the moment captured in this piece: the soft morning light, the golden field, and the bold cow stepping forward, full of calm curiosity. Just after this encounter, my children showed up with a tray of breakfast. A perfect morning—peaceful, personal, and unforgettable.
